Learning and Practice Development Officer (PS0114)

Grade 6, £24332-£31867. 

Fixed-Term for 1 Year with the possibility of extension (Secondments will be considered)
Full-time based in Stirling

An integral part of the services we offer is the delivery of training to support the development of volunteer leadershipand management across Scotland to, ultimately, improve the volunteer experience.

To help us deliver this service we are looking for a friendly, creative, experienced and focused individual who can design, promote, deliver and evaluate training. You’ll be joining a small, innovative team where you will have real responsibility for driving forward the development and delivery of new training products and resources.

You’ll have responsibilities for creating content for our website, supporting volunteer involving organisations on a one-to-one basis and delivering projects. You’ll be adaptable, responsive and an excellent communicator and ideally you’ll have experience in supporting volunteers.

Learning and Practice Development Officer (PS0114)

Grade 5, £22,448 to £29,983.

Permanent and full time, based in Stirling.

We are looking for a generalist HR advisor with the ability to provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR, people management and development issues.

You’ll lead in the administration and management of HR systems including leave, recruitment and training & development and support the Head of HR in the delivery of HR projects.
Additional responsibilities will include assisting the Company Secretary in charity governance matters, management of our Reception services and staff, leading on operational Health & Safety and Facilities management.
You’ll have proven experience in a similar role and a real passion for the difference good people management makes. A key skill will be in establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholder at all levels. Working as a small team you’ll be confident in your own ability, approachable and flexible. This is a varied and demanding role which offers real opportunity for growth and development in an exciting organisation.
