Archaeology on the Flood Alleviation Scheme: Snapshots of the Town's Past

Archaeology on the Flood Alleviation Scheme: Snapshots of the Town's Past

FREE Lunchtime Lecture
Thursday 15th May, 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Come along to hear members from the team at Ross and Cromarty Archaeological Services talk about the discoveries being made during the River Ness Flood Alleviation Scheme development.

Although challenging, at times, the fieldwork has uncovered a myriad of archaeological remains hidden below the present day streets. Building remains, old roads and early infrastructure, including hints of the medieval burgh, form part of the findings of the work in the town centre.

BOOKING ESSENTIAL. Book in person at IMAG,
