Inverness on Friday 21st November at the Royal Highland Hotel, Inverness, t

My name is Pauline and I am the Policy and Engagement officer at Inclusion Scotland, which is a national Disabled People's Organisation.

In partnership with Scottish Campaign for a Fair Society and Scottish Disability Equality Forum, we are hosting a consultation event in Inverness on Friday 21st November at the Royal Highland Hotel, Inverness, to explain the new devolved powers that will be proposed for Scotland following the recommendations from the Smith Commission (to be published at the end of October).

The aims of the day will be to inform people on what is proposed get disabled people's views on what new powers could or should be devolved to Scotland, and to discuss how devolving certain policy areas might affect you and your families.

The event will take place from 10.30 am till 3.30 pm and we would provide refreshments on arrival and lunch. We will provide accessible information and have graphic facilitation on the day. We’d make sure all identified access needs are met and will provide reasonable travel expenses for all disabled people attending.

Kind regards,
Pauline
