Prostate Cancer UK are seeking volunteers to help save lives in the Highlands.

Prostate Cancer UK are seeking volunteers to help save lives in the Highlands. At present, 1 in 8 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer, and we feel it is vital that as much support and awareness of this condition is raised as much as possible.

If anyone is interested in volunteering, a Volunteer Meet and Greet has been arranged for Saturday 29th November at Spectrum House, Inverness City Centre, between 10.00am and 2.30pm. This is your chance to find out about prostate cancer and also how you can help Prostate Cancer UK by volunteering, and the different roles offered, including Campaigning, Speaking, Fundraising and Info Stand Awareness. An induction will be offered but there is no pressure for anyone attending to take up volunteering. Please note : you do not have to be personally affected by prostate cancer to volunteer for Prostate Cancer UK.

We will also pay for all reasonable expenses so if anyone from outside Inverness wishes to attend, we can discuss paying for transport.

There is an A5 and an A4 poster attached so if anyone can print this off and display it or use it for any publications, please do so.
