SEMINAR/WORKSHOP

THE GIFT OF AGEING

SATURDAY 30 NOVEMBER 2013

May I extend an invitation to attend a Seminar/workshop on Saturday 30 November 2013 at the Inverness Town House Inverness.

The theme of the day is the gift of ageing and it will take the form of an exploration of  challenges of growing old. Whilst ageing is not a topic that most people particularly enjoy it is something that we all share. We are all ageing all the time and as we age we need to make changes and tolerate alterations to our lives and our ways of living in the world. Ageing is both a challenge and joy and the more we think about it and discuss it the more we can help ourselves and others as well.

The workshop will look at our own ageing and think about some of the research  around successful ageing and the spiritual nature of ageing. It will be interactive and fun and hopefully give you some positive insights and useful information to think about. It is anticipated that the attendance of people from various faiths will give added value to the discussions.
It will be led by Dr Harriet Mowat who is both a practitioner and researcher in this area of work

There will be no charge for attending but people should bring a pack lunch. The day commences with registration 10.30am for an 11.00am start and should end at 3.30am.

Booking a place is essential by contacting  www.invernessinterfaith.com

I look forward to seeing you at the event
