The Scottish Older People's Assembly is a mutual way to raise concerns
to the Scottish and Westminster Governments. The Assembly supports or
challenges legislation and policies which affect the quality of later life.
SOPA North is linked by live web video, to the SOPA event in Edinburgh. It will deal with the impact of Welfare Reform on older people and Older People as Active Citizens.
Shona Robison MSP Minister for Sport and previously Minster for Public Health will participate in the Assembly in Edinburgh. SOPA North will have the opportunity to put questions directly to the Minister and to other speakers.
