Marketing and Communications Assistant (volunteer)

Trees for Life is a Scottish charity, working to restore the Caledonian Forest in the Highlands.

Opportunity for a volunteer based in Findhorn, also to visit other projects in the Highlands. Training and support will be given by the Marketing and Communications Officer, which includes assisting the Officer in managing the social media platforms, promote the work of TFL, assist with events and provide support for the rest of the Income Generation team where necessary.

Profile:

Training or experience in marketing and communications

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Good IT skills and ability to undertake research

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Enthusiasm and commitment

Interest in digital and social media

Other Terms and Conditions:

Working hours: 9AM -5PM, 2-3 days per week (negotiable).  Holidays; time off to be agreed with line manager.
