Local charities are being offered the chance to talk funding
with Llyods TSB Foundation for Scotland.
The Foundation is particularly keen to hear from charities working in
Inverness and the surrounding areas which benefit disadvantaged people in our
society and which are looking for funding.
The advice surgery will provide a chance for representatives
of registered charities to discuss potential projects towards which the
Foundation may be able to provide financial support. Foundation staff will give tips on filling in
the application form and advice on the kind of projects that may be
funded. One-to-one appointments with a
member of the Foundation’s staff are available at Inshes Church.
Mary Craig OBE, The Foundation’s Chief Executive , said “This
is the perfect opportunity for groups to get some advice and still have time to
apply for our next funding deadline on 18th November. We’ll be able to make sure charities
understand our application process as well as providing tailored advice about
how each charity’s work might fit with the type of work we fund.”
To make a 45-minute appointment for a one-to-one consultation
with one of the Foundation’s staff it is necessary to book in advance by
calling 0131 444 4020.
