Health Inequality Forum

Health Inequality Forum

Invitation to first meeting

·  10.30am - 12.30pm
·  Fairways House, Fairways Business Park, Inverness. IV2 6AA
·  Tuesday 24th September
The Highlands and Islands Equality Forum (HIEF) and the Highlands Third Sector Partnership (HTSP) are inviting members of the third sector in Highland to get involved in a new health inequality focussed forum. The forum will support third sector organisations and community groups in their work to reduce health inequality in Highland.

What will the Health Inequality Forum do?

Exactly how the forum develops will be guided by the people who get involved, but it is intended to be an opportunity for a more organised and collaborative approach to reducing health inequality from within the Highland third sector in order that we can:
1. Strengthen the great work that is already happening by sharing ideas and experiences and exploring new opportunities to work together.
2. Ensure effective involvement in the design and delivery of health and social care services through Highland community planning and public sector partnership working.

Who should get involved?

Third sector organisations, community groups and individuals active in their community in Highland.

How can I get involved?

Places at this meeting will be limited, so if you would like to attend please complete our short online registration form.
However, even if you can't attend the meeting you can still be involved - please get in contact with Matt Tyrer, HIEF Project Leader, to find out more.
