Training

Wild training

If you’re a Wilderness guide, or fancy the idea of becoming one, then Wild Scotland have all the details of training available on their website. If you don’t want the full wilderness guide course you can book individual subjects such as Natural History, Ecology & Ethnobotany, Scottish Geology, Astronomy, Environmental Storytelling, Wilderness Cookery and Gaelic in the Landscape. Many of them look ideal for more general environmental education.

Windy training

Hugh Piggott, Highland wind turbine expert, is running a training course in Scoraig from 26th April to 3rd May. Find out more on Hugh's blog

Food forager tutor required

Do you know about edible fungi and wider food foraging. If so, Judie Holliday,
Community Learning and Development Officer at Strathpeffer Community Centre
would like to hear from you, as they’re interested in running a course on the subject. Contact Judie Holliday at learning@strathpeffercommunitycentre.org.uk
